Kevin Noble Maillard

BIO

Kevin Noble Maillard is professor of law at Syracuse University and a contributing editor to the New York Times Room For Debate. He specializes in family law, constitutional law, and popular culture.

He writes for The Atlantic and is co-editor of Loving v. Virginia in a Post-Racial World. Professor Maillard received his B.A. in public policy from Duke University, his law degree from Penn Law School, and his Ph.D. in political science from the University of Michigan.

Originally from Oklahoma, he is a member of the Seminole Nation, Mekusukey Band. He splits time between Manhattan and upstate New York.
