Garrett Therolf is a Los Angeles Times staff writer and fourth generation Angeleno with a focus on county government, poverty, child welfare and juvenile justice. His investigations have opened readers’ eyes to the plight of children in foster care and exposed the pipeline between foster care and prostitution that pimps exploit. He has also been a frequent guest on KCRW public radio show Which Way, LA?
Mr. Therolf is a graduate of the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
