Appalled by middle-class men with baby seats in their cars, she later joined the Abused Child Unit, where she became a department expert and trainer in the recognition and investigation of physical and sexual child abuse, leading factors in prostitution.
Captain Mulldorfer is a graduate of the LAPD West Point Leadership Program and the FBI National Academy (Session 223), and holds a bachelor of arts degree in organizational management from The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, California. She is a board member of the Mid-Valley YMCA and a POST-certified Institute of Criminal Investigation (ICI) instructor, regularly instructing a variety of law enforcement-related courses.
