Paula J. Caplan is a clinical and research psychologist and associate at the DuBois Institute at Harvard University. Among her areas of expertise are the treatment of women in the military and the over-medicating and wrongful diagnosing of women as mentally ill.
She is the author of numerous articles and 11 books, including They Say You’re Crazy: How the World’s Most Powerful Psychiatrists Decide Who’s Normal; Thinking Critically About Research on Sex and Gender and The Myth of Women’s Masochism.
