Captain Kelly Mulldorfer

BIO

Captain Kelly Mulldorfer is Commanding Officer of the Vice Division of the Los Angeles Police Department, which she joined in 1981. Early in her career she posed undercover as a prostitute. Appalled by middle-class men with baby seats in their cars, she later joined the Abused Child Unit, where she became a department expert and trainer in the recognition and investigation of physical and sexual child abuse, leading factors in prostitution.

Captain Mulldorfer is a graduate of the LAPD West Point Leadership Program and the FBI National Academy (Session 223), and holds a bachelor of arts degree in organizational management from The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, California. She is a board member of the Mid-Valley YMCA and a POST-certified Institute of Criminal Investigation (ICI) instructor, regularly instructing a variety of law enforcement-related courses.
