Karen Carroll is the former Associate Director of the Bronx SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) program. She is currently a forensic nurse intake coordinator for a child abuse pediatrics program.
As a qualified expert witness Carroll testified in criminal court more than 25 times. She has publically spoken on the need for national legislation for emergency contraception after sexual assault with Hillary Clinton and Carolyn Maloney, and has also educated doctors in forensic training in both Jordan and Kenya.
