Desiree Jordan is the founder of Unite Women New York Inc, a grassroots movement that provides a platform where many more voices for equal rights and justice can be heard and valued. She is a social worker and a member of N.O.W. (National Organization for Women), the OID (Organization for International Development), and People for a Healthier Mount Vernon.
